We had lots of wind here yesterday and it knocked out power for lots of people around the state. I was one of the "lucky" ones! The boys and I get home yesterday afternoon to no power. Twin B kept saying our powers were gone - LOL! I decided to make a fun evening of it. I got out the flourescent camp lanterns and we read and played and just had fun. Twin B kept lamenting how he just wanted to watch tv. He's only 3 1/2 and he's already a boob tube addict. The power still wasn't on at bedtime so I took one of the lanterns into their room for a night light. This morning I was getting ready by lantern light because the power STILL wasn't back on. I heard the boys very quietly open the door to their room and I heard Twin B whisper "Let's go to mommy's room...I see light"!
I sure hope our powers aren't gone by the time we get home tonight!

I wonder if his powers came back when your lights came back on. You don't know it but he is a superhero by night and he reboosts his engergy from the lamps in the house.
He was laying on the couch last night watching tv and he looked at me sleepily and said "mama, I'm so glad the tv is back"! When we got home yesterday I told him his powers were back too.
That sounds like so much fun... I hope you get your powers back. LOL
Your question to my pics in black and white with color... I play with photoshop and duplicate layers and turn the top layer to B&W then erase the top layer to reveal color on the lower layer. Its like coloring... I love it.
