Vegetables/Mommy - 1; Kids - 0

Okay, it's really more like Vegetables/Mommy - 1; Kids - a million! Tonight though I wasn't giving in. Dinner consisted of meatloaf, apples and a broccoli, cauliflower, carrot blend. Sounds really good to me. The kids thought it sounded good too until the vegetables hit the plate. I know it's an age old struggle trying to get kids to eat their veggies. Tonight I guess I pulled out all the stops. No cartoons, movies or any kind of TV until you eat your veggies. That didn't work. No dessert until you eat your veggies. That didn't work. We will sit here until it's bedtime if you don't eat your veggies. That didn't work. You may have a piece of gum if you eat your veggies. Both boys are now happily chewing gum. So, how do you get your kids to eat their veggies?

Conley, you are a genius! I love the gum idea! I have no better ideas, and I bow to the master.

Drown in cheese. Kinda defeats the purpose, though. :-)

I did put some parmesan cheese on it for them. That seemed to make it a little more palatable for them.
